Is there an Usana scam?

The honest answer to this question is no. Many customers and top athletes are raving about their products. Many of these new fad companies that pop up on a seemingly weekly basis with the next magic pill or juice, soon fizzle out into oblivion very quickly. Almost everyone involved with Usana will give you very positive feedback, even if they are not making a hugh amount of money. The network is built on the Binary system, although it can be complicated to understand, an intelligent mlm marketer can certainly do very well out of it.

There are some people who will twist the truth of a binary system slightly in order to gain new recruits. With a binary there is the chance of getting paid for the efforts of members being placed under you that you didn’t recruit, this effectively can result in free money, some new to MLM can be persuaded to join for this sole reason. Whilst there is nothing wrong with this, they often don’t explain the importance of having your left and right legs volume balanced in order to qualify for spillovers. You won’t earn money for doing nothing in a binary system.

Usana have taken great care to align themselves with the rules laid down by the FTC and have also received a large number of various international awards. They have set a high standard in the network marketing industry that all should aspire to.

There is still a lot of uneasiness for many people surrounding the MLM industry, most of which is rooted in the Ponzi & Pyramid schemes of a few years ago. This had led to all companies being tarred with the same brush, which is wrong. Regardless of what people may say, Network marketing is still the number one way to build an income from home, even if someone does not have much business experience or money to invest, a solid business can still be built.

Unfortunately there are still companies around to this day that could be labelled as a scam, and for good reasons, as MLM marketers we need to be sending the right message to people and make sure that we are doing business in an open legitimate way.

Its quite obvious that if you look at their history, products and what their members say, that Usana is a very reputable company. It would be a wise move in my opinion to partner with Usana. I would however take into consideration the fact the there is extremely fierce competition in the health & nutrition industry, and there are an increasing number of ‘bunk’ products that don’t really deliver on their promises, but are there to extract cash from potential customers. To succeed with this company you should be able to market in a way that will stand out from the crowd.
