Although my site could, at times, provide information that are useful even to experienced Internet Marketers, my aim here is to provide a tutorial based step-by-step training to newbies, or those just starting out in Internet Marketing.

The Internet can be your best ally or it can be your own worst enemy. If you know what it is you’re looking for, then the Internet can be a lucrative source of profitable information. However, if you don’t know what to look for, then I’m pretty sure that you won’t find it. You’ll just be wasting your time jumping from one website to another, or downloading freebies to your computer’s hard disk, occupying space  there without ever going to be accessed by you again. I know. I’ve been there.

I first heard about Internet Marketing around four year ago, when saw this flyer in our mailbox offering a free seminar. After being enticed with the offer of some freebies for attending, I was able to convince my wife, and we both attended.

The seminar was all about Internet Marketing and a home business idea that would run on “autopilot.” After the seminar we were conned into buying websites and web hosting with a promise that it would only take “minutes” in a day to run, and that all you needed to do was to sit back and watch money coming into your bank account. Nothing could be further from the truth!

Only after learning the basics and getting hands on experience, and only after you’ve done the hard work of setting up your system, then and only then can you take it easy and expect to claim your rewards. Some people are naturally gifted and hit the big time quicker; while others will take much longer to succeed. There is no “free lunch” and this is not a “get rich quick” scheme. If that is what you’re after, then you will surely be disappointed.

However if you take it step-by-step, learning the fundamentals before plunging yourself into deep waters, then you can expect better than average income with more leisure time on your hands to spend with your family and to do the things that you can’t do or are hindered by your “9 to 5″ job.

My task, then – if you can call it that, because I enjoy what I’m doing — is to point you in the right direction. Whenever, through my research, I come across useful or potentially beneficial information, I bring it to your attention by writing about it in my blog.

I’d like to make something clear beforehand. There are times that I get something in return for promoting products in my blog/site. It could be a bonus or a commission I get as an affiliate of the merchant for promoting their product. However, it doesn’t mean that I will just recommend a product for the sake of getting compensated. Like everyone else, I could do with some financial assistance to help me run my site, but I will never, ever promote a product which I think cannot stand on its own merit, or is not beneficial to its user.
